HISTORY & LOCATIONS

The Dark Mists of Mok Ghul

Mok Ghul was separated from the rest of the world by a great dark mist. All mortal beings that tried to pass through the mist decayed alive and were reduced to nothing more than rotting bones. Dragons tried to fly over the mists, but the barrier extended into the highest levels of the sky, preventing them from leaving or entering the lands of Mok Ghul. Due to this separation from the outside world, the apex predators of the land — the Cyclopes and the Dragons — were forced into constant battle. Both of the race’s endless hungers led them to hunt down each other in an eat or be eaten world. This was the origin of the war between the Cyclopes and the Dragons.

The Statue of Rotha

In the heart of the land of Rothai there is a statue of an orc woman named Rotha. She fought for her land and to protect her people, but she died in battle. However, her death led to the salvation of the orcs in the land and kept them safe. To honor Rotha for her bravery and sacrifice, the orcs of the land created the statue for her and took her name while naming their new gathering of people. Forevermore the forests would be known as the land of Rothai, and her descendants would bring forth Oric, who would lead the orcs to safety during the Great Kin Wars and the invasion from the Void.

The Gate to Koriotrem

Guarded by the archangels of the Golden Throne, the gate guards the passage to the beautiful afterlife of Koriotrem. Led by Ragnar, the other angels protect this holy place from any would be invaders. The center of the gate holds a massive pillar with a large gold glowing stone within. Its power is primordial and helps to form the barrier between the living and the dead.

Koh Atha

The realm of those punished in the afterlife. Souls sent here are left lost and alone, replaying their greatest regrets within their minds. As their will and psyche breaks down, so does their spirit. Once their spirit is deconstructed entirely, its essence is spread back into the mortal world of Mivera, where various pieces and parts of them are separately resurrected. Eventually, the entirety of a person’s soul is said to rest within Koriotrem at last, but after being separated and divided so many times, the fragments of these souls are never brought back together as one. This fact means that once a person’s soul is lost to the land of Koh Atha, it can never be formed again.

Eru Dar

The Silver Kingdom of the elves. Ruled by Hrothgar and his lineage, this legendary land is filled with skilled swordsmen and holds hidden relics within its deepest depths. Overrun with demons during an attack led by Vintar, the great kingdom was overtaken by the Void and destroyed entirely. Despite the fall of the land, Hrothgar, his lineage, and some of his people managed to escape to fight another day. Eru Dar stands as a reminder to all kingdoms and powers of Mivera that the forces of the Void are restless, unrelenting, and will not stop until they claim everything from everyone.

Venarax

Led by war hungry warriors, the land of Venarax is filled with humans that harness the crimson magic of rage to burn their enemies. An ancient warrior and king led his people to so many wars previously, but one day mysteriously vanished. Taking his last message to heart, the current rulers of the land of Venarax choose to fight every day and pursue constant battles. Those who defect or leave from their path are punished or killed, and the machine of war keeps churning out generation after generation. Their firepower is immense, and they are one of the strongest factions within Mivera.

Tyrion Valley

Believing in a prophecy of demons reigning down from the heavens, Tyrion Valley is filled with Zenthic zealots. With the arrival of the alien Vuhl to the planet of Mivera, the residents of Tyrion Valley misunderstood the Vuhl as the demons from their prophecy. Doing everything in their power to wipe out the last of the Vuhl from their planet, the forces of Tyrion Valley killed many Vuhl. However, in his grief and rage, the nameless Vuhl caused a great explosion that wiped out the land of Tyrion Valley. Now, the Zenthic zealots only exist in small groups. However, in their divided state these groups quickly turned toward more cultist behavior.

New Alcanar

The safe haven of the Vuhl, created by Vuhl Narrak to protect his people and prepare for another invasion from the demons of the Void. Being created out of necessity after their planet Alcanar was destroyed during an invasion from the Void, New Alcanar is now the only place on Mivera where the Vuhl and the remaining creatures of Alcanar exist. The area is technologically advanced, and it carries with it the greatest source of Elotahn Steel, the strongest element.
