JORAH
JORAH
An innocent boy turned homicidal maniac.
Jorah and his family were enjoying another day together in their home when it happened.
Angels fought unseen foes, and as their battle traveled to his village, Jorah's home was struck and collapsed.
Managing to lift the rubble from his cut and bruised body, Jorah saw an angel close by and called for him.
Jorah asked the angel to save him and his family, but the angel scowled at him. It raised its weapon and hurled a bolt of lightning at the house.
Jorah took cover, and as the bolt struck the house he fell unconscious.
Waking up in the gaps between the rubble, he turned to check on his family.
To his horror, he found the rest crushed by the rubble and himself as the sole survivor.
He escaped the ruins of his village and vowed to punish the angel that took everything from him.
Not long after, Jorah stood before the Archdemon Sayore to make a twisted deal.
He would take on the corruption of the demons, and become marked with violet blood and golden eyes. He would be in service to Sayore.
In return, Sayore would bestow unto him the power to kill the angels that took everything from him.
Impressed by Jorah's desire for vengeance and destruction, Sayore told Jorah that he could make any request, and that Sayore would be forever bound to it.
Jorah was cunning, and asked for an indestructible body that would be immortal and never tire, fade, or die.
Sayore smiled and granted his request.
Now corrupted by the Void, Jorah used his newfound powers to hunt down the evil angels that left him and his family for dead.
He easily killed several angels, and withstood attacks that would have killed others instantly with no resistance.
Then, Jorah saw the angel that tried to kill him.
It still made that same look of disgust at Jorah as they fought. A look that Jorah saw as condescending arrogance. And as quick as it began, Jorah ended it.
Impaling the angel with shards of his own demonic blood, Jorah ended the terrible angel's life. Proudly standing over the dead angel, Jorah took the moment in.
Then, there was emptiness. A hollow ring of success. It was finally over. There was no more need for his vengeance, and no more need for him.
He tried to leave the world, but he couldn't. His skin would not tear, and his bones would not break.
Frustrated and empty inside, Jorah returned to the Archdemon and pleaded to be destroyed.
Sayore laughed a cruel laugh and mocked Jorah, telling him that their deal was final.
Jorah grit his teeth and struck Sayore, but neither of them flinched. Neither one could hurt the other. Or at least that's what Jorah had thought.
Smiling, Sayore did repeat Jorah's original request. A body that's invincible and immortal. One that would never die, fade, or tire.
Sayore said that he agreed to all of these things, but never agreed to Jorah that he would be in control of his own body.
Jorah stood watching in confusion as a sharp pain jolted through his legs. Both of his knees snapped, bending opposite to their natural position.
As he fell and clutched at his misshapen legs, his arms snapped one by one, grabbing the ground behind him as his elbows bent backwards completely.
It was as if he was becoming a backwards man, the inverse of himself. He felt all of the pain, and screamed.
His body rose against his will, and the heels of his feet spewed out the violet demon blood, which morphed into metallic armor-like talons.
His fingers bent and snapped, morphing as more of the living blood armor turned them into claws.
And his head smashed into the ground, and he felt an agonizing pain. Growing from the back of his head, a demonic face formed from his cursed blood and roared out.
Then Jorah went silent, paralyzed to his own body. He could only croak and groan in agony as his body moved on its own.
His spine extended, warping with his blood to form a razor sharp taill.
Bones snapped, sharp pain continued, and Jorah was transformed into a grotesque nightmare.
As he fell silent, his other face roared. His own body moved like a monster, and he was forced to watch and feel it all.
Sayore laughed and taunted the helpless Jorah, telling him that only the Archdemon would be in control so long as he lived.
Jorah's existence had become one of paralyzed agony, forevermore being a silent observer to the monster that now controlled his body, and a witness to all of the atrocities that it would commit…
