TAHAROS
The great Slayer struck down dragon after dragon. With each death, Taharos siphoned their strength and grew stronger. He became an unstoppable killing machine.
Inspired to aid their newfound savior, a cyclops warrior named Kalvos charged into battle with his shield and spear.
As the others raced towards the battle and the hellfire that it would create, Taharos shook off his fear and sprinted toward the dragons. If this was the day he would die, he would die fighting!
The cyclopes raced in, deflecting the dragon’s flames with their shields, then striking with their swords, spears, and hammers.
Sahngar crushed the bodies of several dragons as he swung his mighty warhammer. As dragons clawed at him and tried to breathe their flames toward him, other cyclopes got to the dragons first and pierced their flesh with their blades.
Slaughtering every dragon they could, the cyclopes made their way forward. Even so, the dragons managed to kill what cyclopes they could, but none could strike down the Slayer. With his aid, the tides of the battle changed and the Cyclopes began to take over the fight. With him, the cyclopes would see their victory!
With the great Slayer beside them, the horde of cyclopes was able to make the dragons retreat. Sahngar was hastey in trying to follow them, but the Dragon Slayer slammed his axe down and told them to wait. Confused and outraged by the thought of letting their only chanfe slip away, Sahngar confronted the Slayer. Taharos tilted his head and stared at Sahngar with an intensity he had never seen before. Fire burned in his iris, and Taharos told Sahngar that they must give the dragons enough space to think that they got away. Once that happens, Taharos can lead the horde in small groups directly to the dragons’ nests and finally wipe them out.
In was in this moment that Sahngar knew this wasn’t about winning a battle, but wiping out an entire species. Agreeing, Sahngar let the Slayer guide the cyclopes forward as they followed the mighty dragons’ path.
Fleeing from certain death at the hand of the terrifying Dragon Slayer, the hordes of dragons made their escape. Yet, as they flew one dragon turned and saw the cyclopes following them from behind. Making the choice to be a distraction to save his fellow dragons, the blue dragon raced toward the armies and launched an attack. He hurled flames down at the cyclopes, striking some, but he was no match for the Slayer.
Taking the cyclops head on, the blue dragon managed to dodge the Slayer’s strikes and slash at him with his claws. Yet, as the claws struck the Slayer’s flesh they just slid off his body, leaving him uninjured. The dragon spun and spewed fire directly into Taharos’ face, but as he did the Slayer slammed his blade into the beast’s chest. Gasping for air and feeling the sharp pain radiate through its body, the dragon’s flames stopped. And right as they did, Taharos clenched his fist and swung, striking the great beast directly in its jaw.
